Who we are

To elect your severely disabled representative in Frankfurt:

as a person of trust: (Vertrauensperson)

Stefan Viertel

as deputy:
(Stellvertreter)

Rainer Heil

Stefan Viertel

My name is Stefan Viertel, I have been working in our bank since 1989. I will stand again in 2022 to elect your person of trust. With the experience of 16 years in the representation of severely disabled people, I have extensive knowledge and skills. Since 2018, I have been able to represent the interests of all employees by being elected to the Group Works Council Committee for Social Affairs and as an elected representative of the central BEM team. These committees negotiate topics such as health, occupational safety, risk assessments and retirement solutions, and support and accompany your colleagues on important issues related to reintegration into professional life. If you have any further questions, I would be happy to talk to you personally.

Rainer Heil

My name is Rainer Heil and I have been working in our bank since 1988. In the many years I have witnessed many changes/restructuring within the bank. I have also changed my areas of responsibility several times due to various changes, so that I never got bored in the bank.
With the experience of 14 years in the staff council, I also have extensive knowledge and skills in dealing with employee issues. However, health is one of the few things that we cannot plan or even buy. So I had to find out that I had to deal with a new health situation from one day to the next.
In addition to the personal acceptance that life will be different from now on than before, it was suddenly about topics that I had never dealt with before. So I now know from my own life experience what needs to be considered when applying for a disability or rehabilitation measures – and much more. I am grateful that I received such good support from the SBV during this time. It doesn’t matter whether it was “just” listening, a little tip or very practical help in correspondence with the employer or the authorities.
When I was asked by Stefan Viertel whether I would like to run for deputy-ship at the SBV, I gladly agreed because I would like to give back what I have received myself and thereby also help one or the other to find their way into new situations grasp.
